Orientation and New Student Programs (ONSP), a unit of the Office of the Dean of Students, assists first year and transfer students in making a successful academic, intellectual and social transition to the University.
New student orientation programs during the summer and fall with Family Weekend and First Year Seminar being just some of the programs and initiatives designed to strengthen students’ connection to the University.

Where do my guests and I park?
For ALL sessions, parking for orientation for both students and their guests will be located at the Emmett/Ivy Parking Garage (EIG). View map. Upon parking, there will be shuttle buses available to transport students and guests to the Student Activities Building where check-in will take place. If you park your car in any area other than the designated parking in the EIG, you will receive a parking ticket.
