MATLAB Software

UVA students  can acquire MATLAB for no cost, through a University license. MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization, and programming. Using MATLAB, you can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications.

The Total Academic Headcount (TAH) version may only be licensed to faculty, staff, and students participating in teaching and/or noncommercial research. Commercial use of MathWorks products is not covered by the TAH license, so if you are using a commercial license, please continue to do so.
