Join your UVA advising and student support colleagues at our 3rd Annual Advising Summit!

Presented jointly by Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, this event brings together faculty and staff who advise and support students in a variety of roles. Our goal is to strengthen the relationships within our advising village—fostering connection, collaboration, and shared learning so we can better support our students and each other.

• Keynote Speaker: Shawn VanDerziel, President and CEO of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Shawn will speak about employment trends for recent graduates and how universities around the country are responding. Learn more about our keynote speaker on the NACE website.
• Student Panel: Hear directly from undergraduate students about how they are thinking about their careers in a changing landscape.
• Interactive Sessions & Short-Takes: After brunch, learn from your colleagues during interactive sessions followed by short-take presentations.
