  • Non-clinical resource intended to help students navigate a wide variety of experiences and challenges through developing robust support networks, 1:1 case management, and referrals to university and community-based resources

Cavalier Food Pantry
  • Available to all enrolled students through University ID swipe access during the operating hours of the location of the pantry
  • Our primary location stocks fruits, meats, vegetables, canned and shelf-stable items, pantry staples, culturally familiar foods, allergen friendly foods, and hygiene products

Student Health and Wellness - Well-Being Services
  • Through evidence-based practices, Student Health and Wellness' Well-being Services team works with the SHW Teaching Kitchen, Art Room, and Functional Exercise teams to promote student success, personal health advocacy, and overall well-being. 
  • Well-being Coaching empowers students to develop personalized strategies to navigate daily challenges while prioritizing their well-being. 
  • Additional offerings include outreach, peer health education, interpersonal violence advocacy, and substance use prevention resources.

Student Disability Access Center (SDAC)
  • Student Health and Wellness' office that coordinates disability related academic, housing, dining, and transportation accommodations for students with disabilities (including temporary).

  • Peer Advising and Faculty Mentoring: Since 1984, the nationally recognized Peer Advisor Program has supported first-year and transfer students through mentorship from upper-class peers, while the GradSTAR Mentoring Program connects second- and third-year students with faculty, staff, and administrators for academic and professional guidance.
  • Tutoring Services: Free, subject‑specific tutoring is available through OAAA peer‑advisor tutors, especially in core STEM courses like Biology and Chemistry.

Education Abroad

  • Education Abroad Advisors guide and advise students and faculty on education abroad, providing information about study abroad opportunities and facilitating access to education abroad for UVA students.
